EESTEC LC Sarajevo is proud to present its new, unique workshop, “eMovie Academy”, to be held from the 22nd to the 29th of July. This date was not chosen by accident; the Sarajevo Film Festival will take place during this period, one of the most prestigious film festivals in the region. During the Sarajevo Film Festival participants will get to see the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its best! During the SFF, Sarajevo is best described not by the films, but by the indescribable feeling of Sarajevo during Festival time.

The aim of this project is to give participants the chance to learn the principles of filming and editing a short film, while at the same time giving them a new and different way of showing their creative side. Two-part lectures ( a theoretical and practical part) will be held by professionals from the mentioned fields.

Participants will also have a great opportunity to learn about life in Bosnia and Herzgeovina, considering the themes of the short films are about Sarajevo ( History of Sarajevo, Olympic Sarajevo, Food in Sarajevo etc ).

However, participants won’t be busy only with lectures and filming… Sarajevo is awake 24/7 during the SFF, meaning that all sorts of nightlife adventures await!

Learning how to create a film, getting to know the Bosnian and Herzgovinian culture, spending a week in Sarajevo during SFF, enjoying the Sarajevo nightlife and spending a week full of EESTEC spirit… Is there any need to go on?
